Meghan Trainor is getting candid about using GLP-1s as part of her wellness journey.
The singer told Us Weekly about how she and her family, including husband Daryl Sabara, used the weight loss drug together.
Trainor's new album, Toy With Me, arrives on April 24.
Meghan Trainor is feeling proud.
In an interview with Us Weekly, the "Made You Look" singer spoke about her wellness journey. Trainor, whose new album Toy With Me releases on April 24, told the publication that "pregnancy and my kids" sparked her lifestyle changes.
"I’m finally proud of myself. I put in the hard work. I know what I did," Trainor said, adding that she had been training for her "Still Don’t Care" music video, which involved lots of dancing. "I feel great. There's my mommy pouch that will never go away. I also have loose skin, which you can’t do anything about… unless I cut it off, which I’m not interested in doing. That sounds painful. But I got new boobs."

Trainor also got candid about using GLP-1s when she appeared to hit a wall. "After the second baby, I worked with my dietitian and my trainer and went from 190 to 155, but I was stuck there. I was like, 'I’m doing all the things I’ve learned how to do, what’s going on? I’m killing myself.'"
The mother of three said that her friends were using Mounjaro, and she reached out to her doctor about it. "I texted my doctor, and I was like, 'Girl… do you know anything about Mounjaro?' She was like, 'Girl, I’m on it.'" Trainor then asked her loved ones to use the weight loss drug with her.

"I can't do anything alone — I’m so scared — so I did it with my husband [Daryl Sabara] and multiple family members. I said, 'I’ll pay for yours, and we’ll start together,'" she continued.

"Now when I stand on those scales that tell you each section of your body, I’m green in every area. It was always like, 'You’re obese, you have too much fat compared to muscle,' and now it’s like, 'You are a healthy, strong person.'
Trainor previously opened up about using GLP-1s in a March 2025 Instagram post. "I've been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me," she wrote at the time.
"I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great."
She received both praise and criticism for her openness, addressing the backlash in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in November 2025.
"The the world's getting crazier and meaner, and they're louder. I'm literally for the first time ever, after having babies, taking care of my health to the highest level and I've never felt better and I look incredible. I feel great," she said. "And that's when people attack me? I'm like, 'What?'"
She noted that there was no way to win in this type of situation. "I'm taking care of myself. You don't like it? Okay, what am I supposed to do?" continued Trainor. "I have to find a way to not be affected by that."
