Philadelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto is headed to the injured list, The Athletic’s Matt Gelb reported Wednesday ahead of the team’s series finale in Chicago against the Cubs.

Realmuto, a three-time All-Star, will be sidelined for at least 10 days with a lower back injury, per Gelb.

At 8-15, the Phillies have dropped seven games in a row and are already 7.5 games back of the first-place Atlanta Braves in the NL East.
