Queue up Harry Nilsson’s “Coconut” and dust off that blender, because we’re about to whip up some midnight margaritas.

Warner Bros. unveiled the first teaser trailer for Practical Magic 2, the sequel to the beloved 1998 romantic fantasy film based on Alice Hoffman’s novel, starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. Nearly 20 years later, we’re finally seeing Bullock and Kidman reprise their roles as whimsical wiccans desperate to free themselves from a centuries-old family hex that has resulted in the deaths of all the men they’ve ever fallen in love with. In the sequel, three generations of Owens witches will be forced to confront their family’s dark secrets in hopes of breaking the curse once and for all.

Within moments of the trailer beginning, we catch a glimpse of a wrought-iron fence before seeing the famed Owens home, with its charming Victorian architecture and lush landscaping, safely tucked away in an idyllic New England town. We’re immediately transported back: Sally Owens, played by Bullock, is gardening out front, while Gillian Owens, played by Kidman, prepares to cast a spell in their greenhouse. Coupled with their moody, earth-toned wardrobes and seemingly perfect hair, it’s really like no time has passed.

Bullock’s voice can be heard over the montage, “I’m sure you’ve heard of the Owens family. The ones from Massachusetts. The ones their neighbors whisper are witches.”

Then comes the onscreen reunionbetween Bullock and Kidman as their whimsical onscreen characters. Though unfortunately for them, it doesn’t seem like much has changed on the romance front: “Everyone we love dies. A really horrible death. It’s not great for the Tinder bio,” they explain to a new character played by Lee Pace.

Where the Practical Magic 2 teaser really gets us is with all the callbacks to the original film. Sally’s daughters, played by Maisie Williams and Joey King, are all grown up and fully part of the film’s plot. Whereas in the original film, they were perhaps too young to dabble in witchcraft, they’re now grappling with the dangerous allure of forbidden magic — just like their mom and aunt did. (Um, who could forget when Sally and Gillian performed a spell to bring Gillian’s abusive ex back from the dead… only to kill him again?!)

Luckily, Sally and Gillian’s eccentric aunts, Aunt Franny, played by Stockard Channing, and Aunt Bridget, played by Dianne Wiest, are back to lend some much-needed wisdom.

As Nilsson’s “Coconut” swells in the background — the track famously played when Sally, Gillian, Aunt Franny and Aunt Bridget made their coveted midnight margaritas — the trailer teases even more nostalgia-inducing moments between Sally and Gillian. They’re giggling in bed, dancing under the moonlight in their pretty, flowy dresses — and even bickering for old times' sake.

We also glimpse a recreation of the iconic, final shot of the first film, but with a twist: This time, Sally, Gillian and the girls are opening up their black umbrellas and getting ready to soar through the night’s sky: “I’ve waited such a long time for this,” Gillian says. Talk about a full circle moment.

Practical Magic 2 arrives in theaters on Sept. 18.
