Lexi Lopez Revealed She Had Struggled With Infertility
In Touch reported that Lopez and her husband had their eldest child, Tobias, 8, in Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant season 1, which aired in 2018. The couple had their second son, Jay, in 2019, per the publication.
Lopez revealed that she had wanted to expand her family in a September 2025 Instagram upload. In the post, she shared that "After two healthy pregnancies, I never imagined I’d join the 1 in 8 couples who struggle with infertility."
"Our journey has been long and painful. When we had our first miscarriage just a year and some months ago I was absolutely distraught. I grieved so deeply, but I kept telling myself 'maybe it was just bad luck,'" wrote Lopez in the caption. "A year went by. We decided to try again, only to have another miscarriage… and then one right after that. Three losses total."
Lopez said that she decided to change her diet, began "tracking [her] cycles, gotten [her] hormones tested and tried to give [her] body every possible chance to heal."
"And yet, we’ve been hit with heartbreak over and over again. Secondary infertility was never something I thought we’d face. It’s isolating, confusing and so deeply painful," stated Lopez.
She then shared that she wanted to open up about her experience with infertility to help those going through something similar to feel less alone.
