The Winter Plan

New year, new you, new view! May we suggest: a mega-spa on an extinct volcano. Big Sky, the family-friendly way. A Kenyan un-safari—on a beach. And the Arctic lodge Prince Albert loves.

JanuaryPANAMA

See Panama City for sure, but then head out. This Panamanian resort on the Caribbean coast, Bocas del Toro, has over-water bungalows. Nayara Bocas del Toro

Why There’s much more to it now than the canal and the glittery skyline of Panama City. Details On the Pacific side, the private island resort of Islas Secas, with casitas and serious eco-cred, has long drawn the barefoot luxury crowd, and now it has Casa Cavada, an 8,300-square-foot clifftop holiday home. On the Caribbean side, Nayara Bocas del Toro is adults-only, with overwater villas. Inland, the new Hotel La Compañía del Valle, a Hyatt, sits 2,000 feet up on the crater of an extinct volcano surrounded by rainforest; it has a megaspa. But back to Panama City: There’s Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo, in a restored 1917 building in the historic quarter. Steps away is buzzy Cantina del Tigre, on Latin America’s 50 Best list. It’s starting to feel winter-breaky, no? To book Pierre Gedeon of Costa Adventures, [email protected] Mary Holland

The El Cielo resort cum winery in Mexico’s Valle de Guadalupe. El Cielo

Why We asked our friends at Journey Mexico for an exciting new itinerary. Here it is in 11 days: city, country, and coast; art, food, and nature; plus helicopters and boats. Details In Mexico City, boutiquey Casa Polanco is your base for the new Museo Casa Kahlo and dinner at Michelin-starred Baldío. A 30-minute heli-transfer takes you to the highlands of Michoacån to witness the astounding monarch butterfly migration in a new private reserve; you will hear them flutter. Next: Valle de Guadalupe, the Napa of Mexico, which has exploded with excellent restaurants (Malva) and wineries (El Cielo Resort) and intimate resorts, like the wellness-focused Banyan Tree Veya. Cap the trip with a marine safari off the coast of Baja; January is peak season for gray whale migration. To book Matteo Luthi of Journey Mexico, [email protected] Jen Murphy

FebruaryNORWAY

Talk about a winter wonderland.... One of Finland’s two Octala lodges, as deluxe as a far North hideaway gets. Octala

Why The Arctic is spectacular in winter, a world of silence and heightened sensation. This year (with the solar maximum continuing) the aurora borealis will be at peak visibility. Details Increase your chances of seeing it by heading to Finnmark, Norway’s answer to Finland’s Lapland—without the Santa trappings. Sorrisniva Arctic Wilderness Lodge is the best base there—snowfields, sled animals, Sami culture, all comforts. If you do want to try Lapland, another Arctic Circle–adjacent base for aurora-spotting, the choice option is to hide out at Octola I and II, a Finnish entrepreneur’s hideaways. Sleep in the Glass Igloo suite, which has uninterrupted views of the sky, and enjoy the Monaco sauna, a hand-built amenity added expressly for one repeat guest: Prince Albert. To book Jan Sortland, Norwegian Adventures Mark Ellwood

Lamu island’s OG hotel, Peponi, gives directly onto the white sand of Shela Beach. Peponi Hotel

Why It’s too cold for the Amalfi Coast, but if warm and coastal is what you need, nothing could be more timely than Kenya’s 310-mile stretch along the Indian Ocean, a romantic mosaic of coral lagoons, palm-fringed beaches with nobody on them, and Swahili towns with UNESCO-listed architecture. Details The main magnet, a one-hour flight from Nairobi, is the Lamu Archipelago, with villas such as Jannah and Sirai House and the lovely, old-timey Peponi Hotel. Be sure to take a trip in a dhow, the centuries-old way to travel in these parts, for a day or overnight. NaiSabah, a 75-foot luxury wooden boat with three cabins, has recently been beautifully furnished. You’ll swim, eat freshly caught fish, and think to yourself, “Safari? What safari?” To book Nicola Shepherd of Explorations Company, [email protected] MH

MarchBIG SKY, MONTANA

The lobby of Montage Big Sky. Montage Big Sky

Why Even a decade ago Big Sky was for diehards. With the opening of Montage Big Sky in 2021 and this month One&Only Moonlight Basin, in the exclusive enclave, this month, you can really take your family. Details A private beginners’ hill with tubing? Check, at Montage. A private heated gondola designed by Porsche that takes you to beginner slopes? Check, at O&O. Big spas? Yes, at both, only O&O’s is 5,670 square feet and has a hydrotherapy circuit. There are, of course, the wonders of Big Sky Country and Yellowstone to explore, for which both resorts will arrange VIP excursions. And both will shuttle you to the Explorer Gondola, which will take you to Kircliff, the fantastic new observatory atop Lone Peak, from which you can see all the way to Yellowstone. To book Sam Highley of All Roads North, [email protected] JM

Kigali’s new Pinnacle Hotel is the glam place to stay. Pinnacle

Why This tiny, beautiful, mountainous country has long been, travelwise, a sort of “Africa in the palm of your hand”: savannas, forests, and volcanoes (where the gorillas are) all within easy reach, plus an extraordinarily clean and vibrant capital and some of the best small luxury lodges on the continent. Want a safari-plus but you have only a week-plus? Voilà. Details Consider safari operator Wilderness’s tiny new Magashi Peninsula in Akagera Park, where the Big Five roam. And Kigali just got the one thing it’s been lacking: a city hotel to match the lodges. The nine-suite Pinnacle has glamorous views over the capital and is locally owned and operated, by Ugandan-Rwandan entrepreneur Sheila Kyarisiima, who has a private members club here. To book Sandy Cunningham, Uncharted, gouncharted.com ME

Big news in Charleston: The Cooper hotel is opening on March 1 on the waterfront, the first all-amenities resort in the center of town. Balconied rooms overlook the harbor and lowcountry marshes.

The Spring Plan

Time to smell the flowers! We’re thinking: a new Greek odyssey. Alaska as active as it gets. An exquisite palazzo in the heart of the Med. And the most evocative Roman ruins in the world.

AprilTUNIS

The Tunis medina is not Insta-famous—yet. This is its Al-Zaytuna mosque. Christopher Wallace

Why It’s Marrakech 30 years ago, one of the world’s great travel spots you might actually have largely to yourself. Details What Tunis lacks in polished service and resort amenities, it makes up in culture and personality. La Villa Bleue in Sidi Bou Saïd, north of the city center, is a charming base on a hilltop overlooking the Mediterranean. Dar El Jeld, a restaurant in a mansion hotel on the edge of the medina, is spectacular. And, of course, here are some of the most powerfully symbolic Roman ruins in the world, on the site of what was once the mighty trading city of Carthage. Farther afield: the cave town of Matmata in the southern salt flats (the location for Tatooine in Star Wars), the holy city of Kairouan, and miles of white sand beaches on the island of Djerba. To book Jim Berkeley of Destinations and Adventures International, [email protected] Christopher Wallace

The dreamy spa set-up at the new Voaara, on an island off Madagascar. Voaara Madagascar

Why This mini-continent between Africa and India has landscapes and wild things found nowhere else on earth. And now it has several barefoot luxury lodges from which to explore the island. Details There’s modern glass and pale stone Miavana on a private island, one of the top lodges in the Indian Ocean; Tsara Komba has eight thatch-roofed suites along a volcanic coastline. And the newest, Voaara, on Ile Sainte-Marie, lies on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Beyond the beaches are Madagascar’s natural wonders: lemurs, groves of giant baobabs, the surreal forests of limestone pinnacles called tsingy. Bring the kids, but arrange your excursions to and from the mainland well ahead. Late April to October is the dry season, so you have choices. To book Katie McDonough of Exploreinc, [email protected] MH

MayDOLOMITES

Castel Badia, a newly transformed 11th-century castle in the Dolomites, from the folks who brought you Borgo Egnazia in Puglia. Egnazia Hospitality

Why Olympic fever will be over by spring, Cortina d’Ampezzo (aka Queen of the Dolomites) will have been all spruced up, and you can again explore some of the most dramatic mountain landscapes in the world: 10,000-foot limestone peaks that glow pink at sunset (the enrosadira), with webs of well-marked trails for hiking and for climbing WWI-era via ferratas. Details You’ll be pampered. Ancora, one of the oldest hotels in Cortina (1826), is fabulous again; Cristallo (1901) is reopening soon as a Mandarin Oriental. And there are new bases beyond: Aman Rosa Alpina, one hour east in San Cassiano, and Castel Badia, a beautifully transformed 11th-century castle an hour to the north in the pretty, very unblingy village of Brunico. To book Agustina Marmol of Dolomite Mountains, [email protected] JM

The dreamy Patrick and Joan Leigh Fermor house in Mani, in the Peloponnese, is rentable. Aria Hotels

Why You must do Athens, but where to next? You might hop over to one of Greece’s increasingly crowded islands. Or you can drive two hours and see why the Peloponnese is the odyssey about to be written. Details After Easter everything is open (and there are wildflowers), so it’s the ideal time to visit. The dream is to stay at Patrick Leigh Fermor’s house in Mani (available through Five Star Greece) and to wander the town of Kardamyli, but there is also the restored stone complex Kyrimai in Gerolimenas, and its restaurant right on the sea. The Mandarin Oriental at Costa Navarino has all the amenities but still the low-key charm of the region. On the drive down, stop at Epidaurus and take in a performance. It’s what Agamemnon would do. To book Kostas Bastas of Elysian Travel Group, [email protected] Stellene Volandes

JuneALASKA

All you nature athletes out there, rejoice! Alaska’s Tordrillo Mountian lodge has a spring program just for you. Tordrillo Mountain Lodge

Why In early summer it gets 22 hours of daylight. For “nature athletes” nothing compares to the weeklong “Kings and Corn” program at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, which is designed to take advantage of the long days. Details In the morning, ski buttery corn snow (kernels of softening ice) in a T-shirt. Swap ski boots for waders in the afternoon and cast for king salmon (you get there by helicopter or boat). If you have the energy after dinner, you can efoil, paddleboard, or wakesurf on Judd Lake under the midnight sun, and then run straight from the dock to the sauna in the lodge’s new 2,400-square-foot spa. Skiing this time of year doubles as a safari: The animals are still waking. We spotted bears and wolverines in the distance as we skied. It was wild. To book Directly, or through Judith Root of Entree Destinations, [email protected] JM

Malta’s long-awaited jewel of a hotel, Casa Bonavita, opens in May. Casa Bonavita

Why If you haven’t yet experienced the extraordinary density of cultures and UNESCO-listed sites in this much-invaded nation in the middle of the Med, now’s the time: Direct flights from JFK start this month. Details Conveniently, this coincides with the long-awaited opening of the first hospitality project from Rug Company co-founder Suzanne Sharp (a Malta native): Casa Bonavita, a 17-room hideaway in a palazzo near the charming village of Attard. It combines her design panache with painstaking attention to detail (think of it as Malta’s answer to the much-loved Passalacqua in Italy). Stay here and spend four days out and about on Malta’s three main islands—you’ll have a seaside holiday and feel as if you’ve traveled through time. To book Jason and Damon Camilleri Allan of Exclusively Malta, [email protected] ME

Uniworld’s new river ship, Emilie, launches this spring. The eight-day “Capital Cities of the Danube” trip (May to November) gets you into Vienna’s Belvedere Palace after hours to see Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss.

The Summer Plan

It’s playtime! May we suggest: A ship so fabulous you won’t care where it sails. Secret British isles where the royals go. A new castle in French wine country. And a total eclipse of the sun—at sea.

JulyBURGUNDY

The vineyard of the 12th century ChĂąteau de la Commaraine, newly a notel, has been UNESCO listed since 2015. Lucile Godet, Chateau de la Commaraine

Why The hotels in Burgundy have never matched the quality of its revered wines. That’s finally changing with the arrival of not one but two new properties (like buses, they always appear in bunches). Details At the heart of CĂŽte de Nuits, half of Burgundy’s famed CĂŽte d’Or wine region, is Les Sources de Vougeot (opening in March), with a spa in its stone cellar operated by Caudalie. Even bigger news is the opening of ChĂąteau de la Commaraine, a sister to the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa, both of which are owned by American Francophile Denise DuprĂ©. She has transformed a 12th-century chateau into a five-star hotel (with a pool and spa) with its own seven acres of Pommard Premier Cru. Look out for the wine she’s making there herself. To book Philip Haslett of French Promise, [email protected] ME

The soothing, swank modernism of Katona Manor, in Finland’s lake country. Katona Manor

Why It’s a perfect trifecta: There’s the Savonlinna, an international opera festival held there since 1912 (July 3 to Aug. 1). It’s in a fairytale setting: a medieval castle on an island in a lake. And there are two new high-end hotels, which will organize daytime excursions to the country’s serene forested lakelands, which are at their most beautiful in these weeks of the midnight sun. Details This 2026 guest company, Gothenburg Opera, is bringing a new production of Verdi’s La Traviata. Stay at the 11-suite Kotona Manor and hear some of the stars perform in its amphitheater of a courtyard. Or take over Rauhalinna, on a historic estate recently restored by one of Finland’s biggest art collectors. (It comes with a private chef and yacht transfers from the hotel dock to the festival.) To book Torunn Tronsvang of Up Norway, [email protected] JM

AugustGREENLAND

There are few landscapes as stunning as Greenland’s. Next summer’s solar eclipse will make them even more so. Getty Images

Why There is no natural event, it is said, with a greater sensory and emotional impact than a total solar eclipse at sea, witnessed with nothing in the way. The totality will be visible on Aug. 12 from northeastern Greenland and the west coast of Iceland. Details An armada of ships are rerouting their Arctic itineraries to get into prime positions at the right time, so you have a choice of front row seats: Windstar Cruises, National Geographic–Lindblad Expeditions, Quark Expeditions, HX Expeditions, Ponant, and Oceania Cruises (but don’t delay: Seabourn is already sold out). Itineraries will differ; expect onboard astronomers, NASA ambassadors, astronauts, deck parties, and, on one line, “solar-themed culinary delights.” Whatever that means. To book Ashton Palmer of Expedition Trips, [email protected] Sue Bryant

The Corinthian, a beauty of a sailing yacht from Orient Express. Orient Express

Why We’ve never seen a ship as cool as this first vessel from Orient Express, which debuts in June. The first Med sailings are full, so hurry. Details The Corinthian will be the world’s largest sailing yacht (54 suites), with three towering carbon masts with rigid sails that will give the vessel 100% wind propulsion when the weather is right. Expect 1920s-inspired decor, 13 bars and restaurants (including La Table de l’Orient-Express from Michelin-starred chef Yannick AllĂ©no), a 5,000-square-foot spa, two pools, a cinema, and a theater. Stops include Corsica and Capri and events such as the Venice Film Festival, the Voiles de Saint-Tropez regatta, and the Monaco Yacht Show. (It sails the Caribbean in winter.) To book [email protected] SB

SeptemberBRITISH COLUMBIA

A pale-furred spirit bear in Canada’s extraordinary Great Bear Rainforest. Getty Images

Why Going to this part of Canada is like taking a luxury African safari but in a parallel universe of fjords, glaciers, coastal rainforests, and hidden waterways where humpbacks swim. Details The spa, dining areas, and 25 glamping tents of Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge, the OG of wilderness lodges, recently got a makeover. And Fawn Bluff, even more off-the-grid in the Great Bear Rainforest (and once owned by Michelle Pfeiffer and David E. Kelley), has just been turned into the exclusive-use five-bedroom log cabin of your dreams, accessible only by boat, sea plane, or helicopter. You come here to spot orcas and bears, but also to feast on salmon prepared by the phenomenal in-house chef. Or just to laze by the private lake. All this, just over the border. To book Marc Telio, [email protected] MH

Blockhouse Cottage on Mustique-like Tresco, one of the Isles of Scilly. British Isles

Why It’s England without rain for half the year, a sunny bit of the Mediterranean off the tip of Cornwall with white sand beaches. And there are now frequent flights from the mainland (so you can avoid the choppy waters). Details The 140-island archipelago has long been an elite British hideaway, part of the Duchy of Cornwall, from which the current Prince of Wales draws an income. William came here as a child and often sneaks back with his family. Especially to Tresco, a Mustique-like private enclave on one of the five inhabited isles; its traditional Blockhouse Holiday Cottage has five bedrooms and large windows overlooking turquoise water. The sunny clime is ideal for grapes and flowers; there are vineyards and gardens on St. Martin’s. To book Contact the resort directly ME

We love the classy, intimate Aqua Expeditions ships, and the latest, Aqua Lares (formerly Google CEO Eric Schmidt’s private yacht), will be sailing the Arctic all summer. Come winter, it’s off to the Seychelles and Zanzibar.

The Fall Plan

Rounding out the year! Consider: A new Canyon Ranch in Texas. A big adventure on the Amazon. A super-safari in Africa. And a family trip for the holidays to Italy.

OctoberAUSTIN

Canyon Ranch’s newest resort, near Austin, will have the largest spa in Texas. Canyon Ranch Hotels

Why The new Canyon Ranch Austin resort, which opens in September. Details Wellness destinations are increasingly leaning into women’s health (SHA, Ananda, Kamalaya), but none as fully as Canyon Ranch. The centerpiece of its 600-acre property on Austin’s outskirts will be the physician-led Women’s Wellness Collective, which tends to everything from postpartum to menopause, with specialists in sleep, nutrition, bone density, and hormones. The lakefront retreat will also have the largest spa in Texas and offer concierge medicine services in addition to Canyon Ranch’s signature mind-body therapies. Given its proximity to Austin’s ever-evolving cultural attractions, there may be no better place to camp out for some truly transformative TLC. To book canyonranchaustin.com April Long

SEA & LAND SUPERTRIP

Silver Endeavor and its passengers amid an Antarctic wonderland. Silversea

Why Because it’s three journeys of a lifetime—the Galápagos, Easter Island, and Antarctica—in a single three-week extravaganza. Details Departure is October 15, and the Australian-owned outfitter Captain’s Choice has done all the work. Two nights in Quito segue smoothly into a week in the Galápagos aboard Silversea’s Silver Origin. Then three nights on Easter Island at Explora Rapa Nui, vineyard time in the Casablanca Valley, then to Chile’s Puerto Williams for the grand finale: a voyage around the Antarctic Peninsula on the ultraluxe Silver Endeavor. This early in the austral spring the mountains will be draped with snow. You’ll be among the first to try Silversea’s new ecolodge, the Cormorant at 55 South, the world’s most southerly hotel, before setting sail. To book captains-choice.com SB

NovemberAMAZON RIVER

A suite on &Beyond’s new Amazon Explorer ship. &Beyond

Why Real wilderness exists nowhere on earth quite the way it does along the Amazon, and there is no more luxurious way to see it than on a small ship expedition cruise. Now you have four to choose from. Details Aqua Expeditions’ Aria Amazon and Aqua Nera are the best-in-class OGs, with vintage river cruise design and world class cuisine. They were joined in 2025 by the sleek, floating hotel–like Pure Amazon, from A&K, and this fall &Beyond’s 15-suite Amazon Explorer. All, please note, sail itineraries from the Peruvian side of the basin. In Brazil the river is so wide you can barely see the other bank; the Amazon’s cultural significance is the focus, and wildlife is less abundant—nothing like within the protected reserves in Peru. To book Ashton Palmer of Expedition Trips, [email protected] CW

A rider in Oman’s Sharqiyah Desert, where one of three new 10-suite Malkai hotels will be located. The Malkai

Why There has long been something serene about travel to the sultanate of Oman on the Arabian Peninsula, a sort of fairytale kingdom walled off from the world by steep mountains, where everything—mountains, desert, sea—is within an easy drive of everything else. Making its style of soft adventure softer still is the Malkai, a new circuit of three high-end small hotels. Details The tent- and pavilion-style suites in each (Hajar in the highlands, Sharqiyah in the desert, and Barkaa in the farmland near the capital of Muscat, which offers access to a private island in the Indian Ocean) come with a dedicated vehicle and a guide who travels with you. You’ll have just one dilemma: deciding if you want to come in winter, for the best weather, or in April, for the rose harvest. To book Justin Parkinson, [email protected] CW

DecemberITALY

The view from Rome’s Hotel Eden, with the dome of St. Peter’s in the Distance. Hotel Eden

Why Summer here is sweatier than ever. This is the new hack. Details When several friends recently took their kids to Italy over winter break, it occurred to me that perhaps taking your children to the Colosseum didn’t have to involve neck fans and a steady stream of whining about the heat. Turns out December is a great time to go: the truffle hunting weather in Tuscany (among the many experiences offered by our gorgeous and family-friendly hotel, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, which also sets up an adorable Christmas market) is perfectly crisp, the lines to see the David are not July-intimidating, and traipsing miles around Rome with a glamorous home base like Hotel Eden elicits neither perspiration nor complaints. To book Taylor Bovarnick of Magma Global Travel, [email protected] Danielle Stein Chizzik

Elela Singita, when it opens next December in the Okovango Delta, will occupy one of the choicest expanses of wilderness in Africa. Singita

Why Whisper it: NG26.It’s more a password than a place. It refers to a corner of the Okavango Delta long known as the Abu Concession, a 430,000-acre wonderland set aside by Botswana’s tourism authority until they found the right partner: Singita. Their first property, Elela, with eight “camps,” opens in December. Details Because the terrain is so varied—swamp, grassland, woodland, riverine forest—it teems with life. There are near-guaranteed sightings of everything. The camps range from one to four bedrooms, and because this is Singita, they will be outstanding in design, service, and conservation ethos. But know this: There is already, in the words of one Africa wag, “a wait list from here to Siberia.” You might want to get in line. To book [email protected] ME

Noted for Future!

So many places, so little time! And we keep thinking of more we want to share. Here are some final thoughts for now and for later.

Isn’t travel magic? And a balm for the soul? Consider the below: Christopher WallaceA Mediterranean Cruise—in Winter

Off-season sailings in the Mediterranean are not just about escaping the heat, they’re about escaping the crowds. Imagine seeing the Sagrada Família without lines; Pompeii deserted, as if you’ve just stumbled upon it; Venice, exquisite under gray skies and slicked with rain. Two cruise lines, Viking and Windstar, are pioneering Mediterranean itineraries in late 2026 (in the very last days of December) and early 2027 (January to March). They’re calling it “the quiet season.” Viking’s sailings will depart from Barcelona, Istanbul, Rome, and Athens; Windstar’s from Rome, Venice, and Barcelona. The Viking ships come with the bonus of a warm, glass-enclosed pool and Scandi-chic lounges with reindeer throws and flickering vapor fires. To book You can go directly to Viking and Windstar, although we find advisors who specialize in cruising invaluable. They’ll get you on the right ship and into the right suite: [email protected]; [email protected] SB

Agatha Christie said, “To travel by train is to see life.” Vietnam’s new SJourney train operates seven-night trips across the country, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh or vice-versa, with various stops, excellent food, and an Indochine vibe.

A Long Weekend in Cairo

Egypt has never been a place you go on a whim—or for a short time. But haven’t we all waited long enough for the Grand Egyptian Museum to open? Picture this: You fly into Cairo in time for dinner. You’re at the GEM by 9 a.m., when it opens. Spend the morning in the Grand Hall, on the Grand Staircase, and in the 12 galleries atop it. Lunch is at Zooba, GEM’s Egyptian restaurant, followed by the treasures of Tutankhamun and the Solar Boat. Cairo-by-night awaits (it’s great). The next morning you’re off to the pyramids of Giza, then to Sakkara, with a farmhouse lunch in between at the lovely Blue Lotus. You can leave on a late flight, but why not shop the Khan el-Khalili in the morning? It’s not as if you’re here every day. Jim Berkeley of Destinations & Adventures International can set it all up. [email protected] Klara Glowczewska

Ponant’s Le Commandant Charcot, a luxury icebreaker, sails in July 2027 on an 18-day Arctic expedition with the charming and loquacious Peter Hillary (son of Edmund) onboard. If interested, don’t delay.

A South African Circuit

South Africa, for a traveler, is an embarrassment of riches: game-filled private reserves, gorgeous wine country, dramatic Indian Ocean coastline, Cape Town. Nothing showcases it all more theatrically than the hotels and lodges of the Royal Portfolio collection. Each one (most recently the six-suite Masiya’s Camp, where the tents are pink) makes you gasp at the boldness of design—co-founder and Cape Town native Liz Biden’s specialty—and also at its focus on top-tier game guides (make-or-break on safari) and on conservation. How to choose? Well, now you don’t have to. The team at Royal Portfolio will seamlessly plan you a trip combining the Silo in Cape Town, La Residence in Franschhoek, Birkenhead House in Hermanus (on the migration route of the southern right whale), and their bush lodges in the Greater Kruger.
